Hot from the Porsche Pits

Porsche insider Jurgen Barth, one of the founders of the GT championship, has told us that, according to their calculations, the Toyota which is currently leading second-place Porsche GT1 #26 will require a change of brakes before the end of the race. This is normally a 2-minute plus pit stop.

At the moment, the spread between the Toyota in first place (currently being driven by Thierry Boutsen) and the Porsche in second place (piloted by Stephane Ortelli) is just over a minute.
